The Asch conformity experiments were a series of studies published in the 1950s that demonstrated the power of conformity in groups. These are also known as the “Asch Paradigm”.

Experiments led by Solomon Asch asked groups of students to participate in a “vision test.” In reality, all but one of the participants were confederates of the experimenter, and the study was really about how the remaining student would react to the confederates’ behavior.

Asch ‘Conformity’ experiment and the Milgram ‘Obedience’ experiment go a short way to explaining how on earth people can think that fire bought down WTC7 on 911, i.e. because an authority figure said so. But with one dissenting voice the group think breaks down. Speak the truth and more people will also.

The main problem is most people’s low self-esteem. Only little peer pressure may then be enough to make collapse someone’s individuality and therefore his common sense.

Psyops agents know well how to apply the principles of peer pressure in order to shape group think. Corporate controlled media are capable of creating a huge amount of peer pressure. Many media channels spreading disinformation in concert may create even more pressure.

What can you do to improve your self-esteem and your individuality? By looking inside, instead of outside of yourself and by practicing meditation.

So Im asking; Would this work? and to what degree?

The answer is ‘No, it would not work’. Aside from the technical hurdles involved, Islam forbids images even of the Prophet (pboh) and so there is no image of the Most High to project.
Now, along those lines, because Muslims are ‘tech savvy’ and do ‘watch the Discovery Channel’ they could be led to choose not to kill people or martyr themselves through Propaganda using the Hadith (the words and deeds of the Prophet (pboh)). This could work, but will not be used because ‘victory’ as any normal sane person would understand it is not the goal of our political leadership.pboy

Civil Affairs soldiers have much more direct contact with the indigenous population…they have to in order to effectively be the goodwill ambassadors of the army. I don’t get the impression that it is a really happy place to be right now…a lot of frustrations all around.

Military Intelligence is and will continue to be a solid career field if you qualify for it. 35F (Intelligence Analyst) has some of the highest promotion potential in the enlisted force and I don’t see that changing soon. If you qualify for 35P (Cryptologic Linguist) you will get some great training and again have pretty good promotion potential (and I personally think it is a kick-ass job–I may be a little biased). Regardless of what you choose from within this field, you will have good opportunities for training and the benefit of a security clearance for your life after the Army. Good luck.

I didn’t think much of it but after talking to an Army buddy of mine about it he was all excited about PSYOPS.

So what is PSYOPS like? I was told it was considered Special Operations, but what is the training like? I was told that I could get option 40 (Rangers) in my contract if I went infantry which Ive been interested in.

Psychological Operations

I have a buddy who was a Green Beret Officer. His story goes like this:

"My team was sent into a foreign country that we weren’t supposed to be in officially. Our mission, purportedly, involved recon. We were simply supposed to gather information and get out of there. While we were moving across territory we began to hear what sounded like an Armored Division heading across our path. I grouped our unit together to come up with a plan of action and not engage the enemy forces. We decided to hike around to the rear of the Division and see what they were up to. After running around their flank and then coming up from behind we found out it wasn’t an Armored Division (tanks) after all. It was four guys with speakers on their backpacks. They were US Army PSYOPS personnel who were sent by our government to see what we would do in that situation. It was all training."

PSYOPS is simply employing the use of psychological methods to influence either the enemy or the civilian population or both. If you qualify for this work you might find it of interest and also useful in the civilian world once you get out.

BTW, I hire ex-special forces and can always use another psyops man.

High Fructose Corn syrup is a mixture of glucose and fructose.

HFCS has been attacked as causing obesity but I have not heard about regular corn syrup as being implicated in obesity.

It is used instead of sugar in many products because it is cheaper.. But check the prices of corn syrup (Karo) or high fructose Karo and you will notice that it is quite expensive in comparison to sugar. Something is wrong there.
