Hypnosis is notorious for creating false memories… false beliefs and creating the feelings that go with those perceptions. "Spiritual formation" would simply be another false impression gained during hypnosis.
Don’t get me wrong, hypnosis has very valuable applications, particularly in pain management… but using it for "spiritual" reasons would be a form of brainwashing and it would be deceptive…
