I think you are wrong on the last point … if you have a huge crowd that is not obeying a police order that is a breach of peace. Maybe not in this particular circumstance, but there is a need to in certain justified circumstances get people to move. Large groups of people can be a threat, and if one person in the crowd does something that is threatening or dangerous everyone else is jeopardized including police.

Arrest you under some ridiculous law that’s suppose to ‘protect’ the people, but in reality it’s just a weapon they wield against the people. ”’Section ’5′ Public Order”’ is a classic example.
