Does the Illinois State Police background check have access to expunged records?

In the past I had two misdemeanors in Missouri expunged along with the arrest record. If I apply for a job with the Illinois State Police will they still be able to access these records for their background check?

Yes they will. Expunged records are available to law enforcement but not to the general public.
