That is my point. The two ancient writings I pointed out have such huge gaps of time between original and the copy and yet they are considered accurate history.

The NT has over 6000 copies in the original Greek AND are in the same time frame with secular writings as proof of historicity.

PLUS, their are three other languages, Latin and Coptic, Syriac from the first century.

All of these can be cross referenced for internal and secular accuracy.

All that proves is that it was made when it was made… not that it is correct about anything.

the age difference between the copies and the original have nothing to do with how well a document describes it’s time period.

Again you miss the point. The NT was written by eye witnesses and eye witnesses of eye witnesses during the lifetime of eye witnesses both secular and religious saw the same things.

If any mistakes were made they would have known it. It would be like me trying to tell you John F Kennedy was killed my a bow and arrow wielding madman.

You would rightly say “You are wrong it was a rifle”
