What exactly does an Army Psychological Operations Specialist do?

Please be specific, I have to pick my MOS soon and I’d like some helpful information.

Well for one this is my MOS, 37Foxtrot. Also, the guy in the middle is right. Guy at the top is wrong, guy above me , there is no ministry of defense. We are multipliers of the force. We try to communicate in ways and try to get a certain outcome of the people that are being influenced. We persuade, change and influence. Don’t ask anyone to be specific, because this MOS requires a clearance, and not all can be discussed.

Psy op does not torture and interrogate, interrogation/torture is a different MOS. Psy op specializes in messing with peoples’ minds indirectly – civilians, not terrorists, in short you’d be in charge of dealing with civilians in such a way – giving them messages, food, incentives, etc – that they’d warm up to the American side of the issue.

It’s not a bad MOS, and does not require a language
