it is because they are considered special forces.
it was made mandatory that all special ops have high PT requirements. And they are special ops because they are not your common everyday soldier. They don’t want peace corps because, as a psyop specialist, you will probably have to lie, a lot.

The reason why there are high requirements for PsyOps is because they do technically support special operation forces all though it doesn't happen often sometimes PsyOps soldiers will go on missions with Rangers and A-teams. Normally though most PsyOps solders I known either did research or made Information pamphlets.

Do you think Al-Qaeda, Hamas, or Hezbollah all don’t participate in psyops? You can bet your @$$ that they all do and they have actually done well in the world media with it.

If you’re scared by the PT requirements and security clearance level of "Secret"…then you shouldn’t apply. Neither are that big of a deal. The clearance depends on your past and the PT requirements are all dependent upon your willingness to work hard.

The Peace Corps bit kinda daffles me. I see no reason why you can’t go from one to the other, if you want to. Can you cite a source so I can research where you got this information?
