Be skeptical. …
Be skeptical. Regardless of who, be it the government or the conspiracy theorists. There is no such thing as truth.
some say oh people …
some say oh people who believe in conspiracies have a need to do so. kind of sums up this type of argument. But the same can easily be said for those who refute certain conspiracies! problem is the universities etc pound out the idea of beware of authentic sources so people don’t even consider some sources of information in order to come to a considered conclusion. The fact that people believe certain sources as good and some as bad is not a considered position to take, but becomes biased.
How could anyone …
How could anyone deny that 911 was an inside job? Looking back at the news footage from that day, I mean WOW! The plane crash in Pennsylvania, in which there was barely any plane wreckage and just a big crater in the ground. The plane crash in the Pentagon, with also very little plane wreckage. Then the Perfect Free Fall of the WTC, which looked like an implosion. The smoking gun though is, that it all led us back to IRAQ. Should’ve known Bush would finish Saddam the second time around,
LOL, nice ” …
LOL, nice “interview”…personally I think the stigma behind conspiracy theories is just to make the people who invented the term feel better about eating cheeseburgers and watching football and paying taxes…there are people who believe the world is not run by puppet politicians, people who don’t agree with that call them crazy conspiracy nuts…personally I don’t know how you can live in this world and not see something very wrong with it. Nothing wrong with investigating it further.
believe in what you …
believe in what you believe in…if people want to call you a conspiracy theorist, let them…it doesn’t change a thing…they will continue to work their slave jobs, eat their chemically induced cheeseburgers and believe they’re actually free.
Are psychologists …
Are psychologists and psychiatrists intelligent enough to comprehend Newtonian physics?
Skyscrapers MUST hold themselves up. The designers MUST determine how much steel and concrete to put on every level.
So after EIGHT YEARS why haven’t engineers demanded and told us the TONS of STEEL and TONS of CONCRETE that were on every level of the towers by now? This is the Piltdown Man Incident of the 21st century.
The greatest event in PSYCHOhistory.
Asimov must be spinning in his grave.

I could say the same thing for the sheep who believe any bullshit they hear from the tv.
You mention the …
You mention the irony, psychology and personality disorders of conspiracy theorists, but it is you with dual personality traits, such as insulting me and then inviting me as a friend!
If you acknowledged that you too are a conspiracy theorist, you would have realized you were about to highlight your own personal issues.
I could say the …
I could say the same thing about the official conspiracy theory. NIST say their best attempt has only ‘a low probability of occurance’. The FBI offer no hard evidence to substantiate the official theory.
It is sometimes called the official story. Because it is nothing more than a fanciful story.
the irony among you …
the irony among you conspiracy theorists is outstanding
you would never pass a psychology course and you people should be defined under a new kind of personality disorder

as explorer2101 …
as explorer2101 points out conspiracy theories take many forms and are used by both people in authority and those on the fringes. The official 9/11 story is a conspiracy theory. The theory being that there is a massive islamic conspiracy to destroy the west for no reason other than they hate freedom. This would only hold water if 9/11 had been followed up by countless acts of terrorism against the west. What are the psychological reasons for people believing this whacky theory?
Most people just …
Most people just have a gut feeling that they are being lied to. This feeling has expressed itself in a whole range of conspiracy theories, some credible, some not so credible. However the reason conspiracy theories are so prevelent isn’t because of psychological reasons but because people ARE being lied to. They just don’t know what to believe or what to do about it.
As in many of the …
As in many of the interviews I’ve observed of this nature, the reporter conducting this ‘interview’ has no idea what a conspiracy is.
Many don’t seem to comprehend that any supposition that proposes a collusion of two or more people, is a Conspiracy Theory. This includes conjectures put forward by one’s own governments.
He doesn’t even understand the premise of the question.
How could he be relied upon to analyze the facts – even if he had bothered to research any?
