Conservatives! What ‘social engineering’ do you oppose in the tax code?
At times conservatives clarify that their anger is less about tax rates than about tax policy. In fact, that is what the GOP platform says. Opposing the use of the tax code to affect behavior for ‘social engineering’. What ‘social engineering’ brought to bear by tax policy do you oppose?
Deductions for producing children, which encourages irresponsible breeding. The USA is already overpopulated & stretching natural resources thin. There should actually be local & federal tax burden on children. Here’s a couple of reasons:
Increased infrastructure costs because of increased population (roads, sewers etc.).
Increased needs for services such as education.
Well, for starters there is a percentage of the population that literally gets back from the government each year MORE than they pay in… What motivation is there to further succeed? The war on poverty is lost… Time to make the lower class self sufficient, and quite making them government addicts!
